A progression.  Was a fun piece to get into.

A commissioned piece to be used for "Trainline", the board game.  I was given a great sense of freedom and took the liberty to have some fun.  Really wanted to portray a very wild public transportation experience scene.  I've met some of the most interesting characters on my bus and train rides.

Deep underwater creature

This was a practice in speed.  I wanted to create a creature concept that was inspired by deep sea bioluminscent creatures.  I find them visually fascinating as well as from a biological point of view.  This is just one concept.  I'd love to conceptualize a few more designs, as I'm sure this is gonna be compared to the alien design from Independence Day (which I thought was a great design by the way).  Anyways, thanks for stopping by and viewing.  Looking forward to sharing some more ideas soon.

project SANU concepts

Father and daughter.

Some of my daily sketching.  I am currently working on a comic project at the moment.  I will be providing the visual direction for the property.  The color concepts are some of the ideas being proposed.  We're going for a futuristic samurai hybrid tale of new meets old.  Modern science meeting Mystic folklore.  That's putting it very simply, but the story is going to dive into deep territory.  Stay tuned for more details and as always thanks for stopping by.
